By accessing or using our Site and making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Packaging Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website

Nature of Handmade Art & Product Authenticity.

• Handmade Variations: Because every painting is a unique, handmade work of art, subtle variations in texture, color intensity, stroke patterns, and minor imperfections are natural characteristics of the creative process and are not considered defects.
• Color Accuracy: We strive to display the colors of our paintings as accurately as possible. However, actual colors may vary slightly depending on your device screen settings, brightness, and color calibration.
• Certificates of Authenticity: All original artworks come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist, confirming the original nature of the work.

Orders, Pricing, & Payment

• Order Acceptance: Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order for reasons including, but not limited to, artwork unavailability, errors in pricing, or suspected fraud.
• Pricing Changes: Prices for our artwork are listed in  INR  and are subject to change without prior notice.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via [Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, Stripe, UPI, etc.]. You warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Full payment must be cleared before an item is dispatched or work begins on a commission.

Commissioned & Custom Artwork

• Non-Refundable Deposit: Custom or commissioned artworks require a [e.g., 50%] non-refundable deposit before creation begins.
• Approval Process: Prior to final delivery/drying, we will send high-resolution photos/videos of the completed custom piece for your review. Once approved and the final balance is paid, the sale is final.
• Cancellations: Custom commissions cannot be canceled or refunded once work has officially commenced.

Shipping, Delivery, & Risk of Loss

All purchases are subject to our Shipping & Packaging Policy.

• Risk of Loss: Ownership and risk of damage or loss for the artwork pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges

• Conditions: Artwork must be returned in its original condition and original archival packaging. Return shipping fees and transit insurance are the buyer's responsibility unless the return is due to damage in transit.
• Non-Returnable Items: handmade paintings, sale items, and digital downloads are non-refundable.

Intellectual Property & Copyright Ownership

• Artist Retains Copyright: Purchase of a physical painting does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights to the buyer. The copyright remains with the original artist and hast-chitra.com.
• Prohibited Use: You may not copy, reproduce, print, scan, resell digital copies, or commercialize the artwork or images on this Site without explicit written permission from us.

User Accounts & Conduct

• If you create an account on our Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree not to use the Site for any illegal purpose, introduce viruses or harmful code, or attempt unauthorized access to our servers.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, hast-chitra.com and its artists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the purchase/display of any artwork.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of , Gujarat, India  without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Morbi, Gujarat.
